Henrik Schwerdts
Henrik Schwerdts knows Zimmerei Ronald Wilksen GmbH from the ground up. His career began in 2013 with an apprenticeship as a carpenter at the company - a decision that laid the foundation for his professional future. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, he attended the vocational school in Bremerhaven, where he obtained a technical college entrance qualification specialising in architecture and construction.
With a clear goal in mind, he went on to study civil engineering at the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg. During his studies, he always kept an eye on practical relevance - an aspiration that is still reflected in his work today. After graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering and passing the trainer aptitude test, Henrik Schwerdts returned to the training company at the end of 2021 - initially as Deputy Managing Director.
At the turn of the year 2022/2023, Ronald Wilksen handed over the management of the carpentry business to his former apprentice. Since then, Henrik Schwerdts has continued to run the business as managing partner - with the aim of combining tradition and the future.

Foundation
Foundation of the carpentry workshop in Nordholz by master carpenter Heinrich Wilksen.
The beginnings
Construction of housing estates and woodwork for the naval base in Nordholz.
The post-war period
Focus on cabinetmaking & repair work. Relocation to bearing 4. Ronald Wilksen becomes managing director in 1987.
The 90s
Continuous expansion and modernisation of the company. The first houses in timber frame construction with low energy standards are built.
The transition
Current Managing Director Henrik Schwerdts starts his apprenticeship at Ronald Wilksen GmbH
The succession
After successfully completing his training and studies, Henrik Schwerdts takes over the company as managing director and partner.
